Job Summary
The Cardiac Observation Unit is a 6-bed unit that specializes in the care of observation status patients. We provide comprehensive care to patients with diagnoses such as chest pain, cardiac dysrhythmias, and NSTEMI. Our team works closely with ARU and assists with outpatients' preoperative care and recoveries.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
