Growing, fast paced ophthalmology practice specializing in Retinal care in Winston Salem, NC looking to hire a full-time Ophthalmic Technician for our Clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
· Comfort with computers/technology: We use Macs, iPads, and specialized cameras in clinic. It’s important to be a quick learner!
· Team Player: There are many moving parts in our practice. We need someone who will be ready to pitch in where they’re needed!
· Exceptional communication: Ability to read, understand and retain information.
· Dependable: We strive to take excellent care of our patients. This is only possible when staff is on time and present for shifts. It’s very important for this individual to be EXTREMELY dependable.
· Positive attitude/outlook: We take care of all people. This individual must be able to demonstrate patience, grace, discernment, and kindness.
· Self-starter/Efficient: Taking initiative is key! Every day gives the opportunity to be better than yesterday. Using time wisely to complete action tasks is very important.
An exceptional candidate will have the above-mentioned skill set and familiarity with fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and OCT testing.
