Full Time Day Shift Physical Therapist, Clinical Coordinator
Responsible For
Coordinates, updates, and revises the clinical education program. Providing competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff as well as establishing best practice protocols. Having a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policies related to reimbursement. Serving on committees for program planning. Providing care for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized college or university.
Minimum Experience Required
Two years of previous healthcare experience preferred in a hospital setting.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
Current licensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study. BLS certified through AHA.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with research and analysis of data preferred. Reads and writes in English. Must be able to evaluate data and make independent decisions.
