Part-time Bookkeeper

Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join us in our Parsippany Office, M-F, 12:00-5:00. The ideal candidate has 5 years experience, is proficient in Online and Desktop QuickBooks and can work on several clients concurrently. .

• Duties:
• Correctly code and enter payables into QuickBooks for multiple clients on a daily basis
• Cut checks and process and post ACH and wire transfers for multiple clients on a daily basis
• Make and post deposits for multiple clients into their bank accounts on a daily basis
• Create client invoices and make AR calls when necessary
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly and create cash reports to send to clients
• Communicate (both in verbal and written form) with clients, client vendors, suppliers and banking contacts when necessary
• Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners
• Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience

• Extremely proficient in Desktop and Online QuickBooks & Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on multiple clients concurrently
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
• Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential
