Pieper Electric is hiring a part time Accounting Intern in New Berlin, WI. This position will assist the accounting team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, customer and job maintenance, journal entries, misc office tasks such as filing and other projects as needed.

- Assist the accounting team and other staff in the following areas:
- Journal entry preparation and entry.
- Account reconciliation.
- Data entry.
- Spreadsheet preparation.
- Filing.
- Miscellaneous office work and special projects.
- Current student status working on completing their Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of basic accounting (debits & credits, assets and liabilities; income and expense.
- Computer skills including Excel, Microsoft Word, AS400 experience a plus
- Ability and willingness to follow directions
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to work in a neat and organized manner.
- Work schedule: Part time during the school year; additional hours between semesters. This position has the potential for full time hire after graduation.
