Detailing Specialist III
The position ofDetailing Specialist III is to detail, layout and create installation documentsand BOM's for projects within the specified schedule with minor supervision. The specialist will communicate and workclosely with the detailing team, detailing supervisor, project managers, and fieldsupervisors as needed to coordinate the layout of electrical components asrequired for the projects. Coordinationwill be required with other Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) TradePartners Documents oversight. Work alsorequires 2D drafting, detailing, spreadsheet development and othermiscellaneous data entry.
Other responsibilities :
- Detail 2D elements for electrical work on construction projects within specified schedule
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Smartsheet's and Excel for layout, take offs and counts
- Coordination of project drawings
- Complete counts, take off's or spreadsheets per established project schedule
- Provide final install drawings, take offs and counts to project teams
- Create 2D detailing and layout drawings as directed from project team and Engineering Supervisor
- Proficient with the symbols and schedules within the electrical trade and drawings
- Learn and utilize Revit Software
- Complete drawings, counts, take off's or spreadsheets per established project schedule
- Provide final install drawings for field personnel
- Assist in training and mentoring L1 and L2 specialists
- Create 2D drawings of electrical work as required for details, prefabrication, one-lines, 2D layouts and as-built drawings as required for projects as needed
- Lead projects and scopes of work to completion
- Assist to resolve clashes with other trade and building components from 2D drawings
- Proficient in Bluebeam and Navisworks
- Proficient with and utilize your abilities for all MEP and architectural installation elements to coordinate electrical 2D layouts
- Independently attend project coordination meetings with our Pieper team as scheduled to keep current of project developments, milestones and timelines
- Independently attend project coordination meetings described above to work through and resolves clashes and conflicts
- Lead projects and scopes of work top completion
- Keep detailed and current records of all project work including but not limited to drawings, correspondence, changes and schedules
- Maintain and update drawing and all project files
- Maintain take off schedules, sheets and counts or kitting sheets
- Review Engineering Specialist L1 and L2 outputs
- Track and accountable for project hours and scope
