Job Description
The campus Math Center is a space for collaborative work between math students and tutors. The Math Center Student Tutor will provide tutoring support to students needing assistance in math. At a minimum, tutors must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, Pre-AP Algebra II.
Responsibilities
- Work with students to provide support in strengthening math concepts and skills.
- Attend a tutor training before or after school.
- Become familiar with the mission and purpose of the Math Center.
- Keep scheduled tutoring commitments.
- Communicate with the campus Math Center Facilitator regarding Math Center concerns.
Requirements
- Math teacher recommendation (please include a Math teacher in the reference section)
