Specialty Moving Technician

Job Summary
Get out of a stuffy office, use your hands, and work in team-oriented environment. Our specialty services division is looking for a qualified applicant to join our expanding team. We are looking for an individual who is excited to grow and develop within this position as opportunities for growth are always present. Applicant must be dependable, self-motivated, hardworking, and must work well with others. This position will assist with crating and moving support services, as well as help with some light warehouse work. Requirements include heavy lifting, ability to perform basic carpentry and experience in operating power tools and saws safely. This individual must have a valid driver's license and will be expected to follow all safety procedures and policies of Piepho Moving and Storage. If you don’t feel qualified but want to join our awesome team, training would be provided to the right individual.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with company safety policies.
• Design & Build Custom Wooden Crates
• Perform general warehouse/production duties.
• Thorough organization of paperwork and processes
• Utilize specialized equipment to carefully transport safes, pianos, and other specialty household items
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Third Party Services including, but not limited to Washer/Dryers, TV's, Exercise Equipment, Playground Equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read/speak/write fluently in English.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team, supervisor, and other company personnel.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Should maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Good attitude
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new skills.
• Able to lift 100 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
