Duties :
- Customer Service Management
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest flow and seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency.
- Staff Supervision & Training
- Lead and manage front-of-house staff (hosts, servers, bartenders, etc.).
- Provide training on customer service, restaurant policies, and daily procedures.
- Delegate tasks and assign roles based on staff strengths and operational needs.
- Scheduling & Shift Management
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
- Handle last-minute shift changes and staff replacements as necessary.
- Operational Oversight
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures for front-of-house areas.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of dining areas, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Communicate any menu changes, promotions, or special requests to staff in a timely manner.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and ensure proper seating arrangements.
- Inventory & Supplies Management
- Keep track of front-of-house supplies like menus, silverware, napkins, etc.
- Ensure bar and dining area is stocked and ready for service.
- Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in cash handling and balancing the daily register.
- Monitor and maintain tipping policies.
- Prepare and submit reports on daily sales, guest feedback, and operational issues.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce cleanliness standards and procedures to ensure safe dining conditions.
- Ensure staff follow food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols.
