We’re looking for a trailblazer to join as one of our earliest business hires at a super-ambitious startup, working directly with the founders to scale our revolutionary Sponsored Checkout ad product.
Your mission :
- Scale the Product : Use learnings from early design partners to generate $10M in ad sales within 12 months.
- Build Relationships : Develop partnerships with fast-growing brands eager to shape the future of ad formats.
- Create a Playbook : Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy, from cold outreach to closing deals.
What Success Looks Like :
In 3 Months : Help scale our product beyond early partners and close deals from scratch.In 12 Months : Drive $10M in ad sales, help refine GTM strategy, and begin growing the team.Who You Are
Sales Experience : You’ve sold CPC, CPA, or similar ad formats and know how to secure budgets from big brands.Startup DNA : You’re adaptable, resourceful, and thrive in fast-paced environments.Dedicated : You can reject setbacks and enthusiastically persist until ambitious goals are achieved. Hearing “no” nine times out of ten is just part of your process.Highly ambitious and doesn't scare easily.Past experience and deep executive knowledge & credibility of one of our priority industry verticals of Ecommerce / Retail, Travel, or Events & Ticketing is a bonus.
Requirements (Must haves)
Experience selling ads to marketing and growth teams.Proven ability to source deals from scratch and bring in big / fast-growing brands.Ability to work closely with brands to create exclusive offers for Pier39 users.Located in (or willing to relocate to) the SF Bay AreaWhat We Offer :
