Nature of the Work:
You are responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks for grounds, buildings, structures, and equipment within the Parks Department. You may typically be required to learn and participate in maintenance activities associated with a variety of skills and trades.
Core Daily Responsibilities:
The variety of work performed in this position includes a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks for grounds, buildings, structures, and equipment.
- Perform general parks maintenance work such as, but not limited to weeding, trimming, and mowing.
- Perform maintenance work such as but not limited to facilities cleaning.
- Other duties as assigned.
We currently have 3 positions available. The typical schedule for these roles is: Wednesday through Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Ability to safely lift, push and pull 50lbs
- Ability to work all terrains in all weather conditions
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience in grounds keeping, including weeding, trimming, and mowing
- Current driver’s license, DOL check
