Job Description
Pierce Property Management is looking for a Bookkeeping/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable for our portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and will be able to take ownership of their work and projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply monthly rent payments correctly
- Accurate sales tax collection, reporting and payments
- Data entry, invoicing and processing of owner and vendor payments
- Month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed
- Tenant security deposit dispositions
- Monthly balance due statements
- Collection correspondence and procedures
- Answer phone calls and relay messages to appropriate staff
- Maintain communication with clients, vendors, etc. via email or other means
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and timely
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of property management software such as Appfolio software preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
