Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company by managing accounts payable functions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

Duties include assisting Construction and Property Management with reconciling monthly vendor statements, verify invoices, process checks, accurate job-cost data entry for multiple projects.

Candidate must be well organized, have the ability to meet deadlines, have strong communication skills, reliable attendance, willing to learn, work diligently and independently and have a pleasant team-oriented disposition.

Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals for invoices
- Utilize financial software to input data, and generate reports

Experience
- 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable

-Proficient with Excel, 10 key and data entry
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial software systems for accounts payable processing.

-Understanding of corporate accounting procedures and journal entries
- Experience with Sage Contractor and Rent Manager Xi a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
