What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Veterinary Technician position at Pierz Veterinary Clinic?
Completion of a two-year veterinary technician program required.
Looking for a full-time veterinary technician who enjoys a fast pace, and wants to experience all creatures great and small! We see a huge variety of animals outside of the typical cats, dogs, horses and cows. Training is provided for anything you are uncomfortable doing.
Techs take patients histories, physical exam vitals, assist with sample collection, lab testing, surgeries, dentals, treatments and more.
We use Avimark for medical records and Idexx for our in-house laboratory equipment including Procyte, Sedivue, and Catalyst. We also do our own in-house progesterone and endocrine hormone testing.
Full time schedule: Work 4.5 days per week and every third Saturday morning.
