Job Description
In a professional capacity, this role will interact with patients in a courteous and respectful manner while also providing support to colleagues and associates in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will utilize equipment and accessories, apply established techniques and procedures, and perform services in accordance with industry standards. Additionally, they will demonstrate expertise in minimizing radiation exposure for patients, themselves, and other healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize theoretical knowledge and concepts to practice technology founded upon established principles.
- Employ equipment and accessories consistently with their intended purposes.
- Apply procedures and techniques appropriately to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- General radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Digital and Computed Radiographic (CR).
Communication and Computer Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Computer skills.
Certifications and Experience
- ARRT certificate.
- CRT certification within 30 days of hospital orientation.
- Fluoroscopy permit obtained within the initial 120-day evaluation period.
- CPR/BLS - Basic Life Support.
- One year of work experience or two years of internship in a hospital setting.
- Experience with PACS.
- Experience with digital imaging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Venipuncture Certification.
