Key Responsibilities
- Utilize equipment and accessories, employ techniques and procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
- Practice technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, using equipment and accessories consistent with their designed purposes.
- Employ procedures and techniques appropriately to ensure quality patient care.
Required Skills
- Technical skills in general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Digital and Computed Radiographic (CR) capabilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
Required Experience
- Certificate from ARRT.
- Certificate from CRT within 30 days of hospital orientation.
- Fluoroscopy permit, obtainable within the initial 120-day evaluation period.
- CPR/BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
- At least one year of work experience or two years of internship in a hospital setting.
- Experience with PACS and digital imaging.
Preferred Qualifications
- Venipuncture Certification.
Working Conditions
Variable shifts may be required. Non-exempt FLSA status applies.
