What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist, Per Diem position at PIH Health?
As a diagnostic imaging professional at PIH Health, you will be educationally prepared and clinically competent to perform all general diagnostic radiologic exams.
The scope of practice includes portable radiography, fluoroscopic exams, and intraoperative exams. You will work in a dynamic environment where you will apply critical thinking skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience in imaging and fluoroscopy in an acute care hospital, including critical care.
- Current California CRT certification in general procedures and California fluoroscopic certification.
- For mammography, mammography certification is required.
- BLS-AHA certification is also necessary.
- A LA City fire card must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
