Job Summary
As a Teacher's Assistant/Floater, you will work closely with the lead teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of students. This role is crucial in creating a stable and engaging learning environment for children.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Rotate between classrooms depending on staffing needs (ages 2-PreK)
- Assist in supervising students during various activities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement educational strategies
- Help prepare materials and resources for lessons
Skills
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and milestones
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with young learners
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
