What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Mechanic - Fleet position at Pike?
Position Summary : The Field Mechanic position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. Essential Functions :
- Responsible for 70 – 100 pieces of equipment per region.
- Manage Deployment of Equipment across regions, cities and states.
- Knowledge of equipment mechanics ranging from as large as a crane to as small as a chain saw.
- Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance on a job site in various weather conditions.
- Troubleshooting in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance and deployment.
- Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others while performing job.
- Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
- Does all other related work as required to complete the job.
