Key Duties
- Reconcile all company bank accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepare all related journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with month and year-end closing of the accounting records, including preparation of assigned journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly financial statement review, including preparation and review of support schedules and trend analysis.
- Review payroll for multi-state processing centers on a bi-weekly basis
- Prepare all property tax filings.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation for financial audits.
- Assist in the execution and implementation of various financial projects and system initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical accounting procedures, month end closing, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Excellent analytical skills to effectively evaluate data, identify variances, and resolve discrepancies
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks concurrently and within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (e.g. written and verbal) and the ability to interact with people at all levels of the company
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with queries, including the use of Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency with Intacct or similar accounting software
- Prior experience with a system implementation
