Job Description
- Collaborate with the creative team and clients to brainstorm, draft, and present customized advertising ideas that align with client goals and effectively highlight their products or services.
- Conduct client interviews and research to gain a deep understanding of their offerings, ensuring advertising solutions emphasize key features and benefits.
- Develop and present tailored advertising plans, offering multiple strategies for client consideration and feedback.
- Manage the full advertising sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, closing sales, implementing campaigns, and collecting payments in adherence to company credit and sales policies.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of client accounts, balancing multiple deadlines and campaigns while delivering exceptional service.
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvements and future strategies.
- Drive innovation by contributing to the development of new advertising revenue streams across print, web, and mobile platforms.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through empathy-based, relationship-oriented selling, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and trust.
- Represent the company professionally at industry, community, and networking events to promote brand visibility and strengthen client partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records in the SmartPublisher CRM, update daily activities, and utilize company-provided research tools to enhance client proposals.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, working collegially with colleagues across departments to achieve departmental goals, budgets, and objectives.
Skills
***Must have media/print sales experience
- Proficiency in warm calling techniques to establish rapport with potential clients.
- Strong background in technology sales with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience in account management, negotiating contracts, and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform advertising strategies.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Business development acumen with a focus on identifying growth opportunities in the market.

The salary for this position at PPMC is $30,804.80 12% Commission Paid on Collections.
The base pay salary is a calculated industry-based estimate and is what the PPMC may pay for anyone seated in this position throughout their tenure at our company. This salary of $30,804.80 12% Commission Paid on Collections is based on a number of factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and years and types of experience.
