Sr. Procurement Specialist

Pilatus is hiring a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for handling strategic sourcing for critical aerospace components, including high-value or long-lead-time parts for production and aftermarket support. A successful person in this position will develop long-term supplier relationships, manage key contracts, and lead cost-reduction initiatives to optimize supply chain operations.  Essential Duties/Responsibilities  

• Sources and procures critical aerospace components, including high-value or long-lead-time parts for production of standard and special mission aircraft, as well as aftermarket support
• Develops and executes procurement strategies that align with company objectives and operational requirements
• Establishes and maintains long-term supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms and securing reliable supply sources
• Manages high-value procurement contracts, including agreements for new components, engineering development projects, repair, and overhaul services
• Leads cost-reduction initiatives and supplier development programs to optimize procurement performance
• Collaborates with internal teams to establish procurement strategies and risk mitigation plans
• Guides and mentors junior colleagues, providing strategic direction and expertise on procurement best practices
• Analyzes procurement data and supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficiency

Requirements

 Skills/Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5 years or more in procurement, ideally with aerospace supply chain experience
• Able to independently make major procurement decisions and perform new supplier evaluation
• Advanced skills in contract structuring and supplier agreements
• Deep knowledge of aerospace procurement regulations and supplier capabilities
• Able to mentor junior buyers and support procurement strategy development
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, contract management, and analytics tools (i.e. MS PowerBI)
• Experience with Component Control Quantum ERP software is an advantage
• Must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined under ITAR 22 CFR 120.62

The salary range for this position is $62,316 - 84,126 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. 

Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd was founded in Broomfield, Colorado in 1996. Pilatus’ new 118,000 square foot facility is custom-designed to conduct aircraft interior and exterior completions for all PC-12 NGX and PC-24 aircraft delivering to North and South America.
