Camp Squanto, Summer Camp - Registered Nurse
Camp Squanto is a residential camp in southwest New Hampshire, seeks a Registered Nurse this summer. Commitment is as short as 2 weeks or as long as 8 weeks.
Camp Squanto/Pilgrim Pines is a fantastic christian camp community that strives to bring out the best in children and youth. We share the good news of the salvation that God offers in a way that lets campers really understand who God is. In everything we do, we seek to foster relationships where campers are built up by staff and by each other. All this happens through games, events, discussions and music in the great outdoors that have made Squanto the source of lifetime stories and memories for over 60 years.
We are seeking qualified registered nurses with great energy, nursing skills, communication skills and warmth who works well as part of a team. Competitive salary, meals and housing provided for individuals who desire to be part of our summer family.
Nurses are responsible for: (a) caring for ill or injured campers and staff members who are admitted to the Health Center; (b) communicating with camp parents regarding medical concerns;(c) sorting and dispensing medication to campers; (d) responding to any emergency which may arise at camp;(e) maintaining electronic health logs for each camper and staff member; (f) encouraging and promoting a healthy community and accident prevention; (g) helping to maintain policies and procedures to protect against communicable diseases.
