BIOCIDES BUSINESS SUPPORT TECHNICAL MANAGER
Role Summary
The purpose of this position is to function as the single internal and external point of contact for technical support for registered Biocides and Specialty Surfactant business areas to ensure business growth and continuity.
A significant focus of this role is technical oversight of the regulatory compliance and management of biocidal products which involves ensuring that all biocidal products are properly registered, authorized, and in compliance with relevant regulations including assisting with dossier preparation and submission, test data management, monitoring regulatory changes, and developing and presenting product information.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical oversight of the registered biocides and specialty surfactant business including new product development processes.
- Managing project submissions and project portfolios
- Providing technical expertise as the point of reference for the business and for customers
- Supervising competitive analyses
- Maintaining and developing intellectual property
- Regular interaction with commercial teams and customers is essential to ensure alignment and address product inquiries.
- Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with the Responsible Care Management System and continuous knowledge enhancement in relevant technical fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project management, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time.
- Experience in registered biocides with strong regulatory knowledge.
- Ability to communicate technical information with customers and suppliers.
- Experience managing complex projects from start to commercial launch.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good relationship skills with subordinates and peers.
- Proven problem-solving skills through analytical and creative thinking.
- Ability to work in a safety focused environment with sound knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement systems.
- Travel as needed for customer visits, training, conferences, trade shows, professional bodies, and classes.
- Experience with specialty surfactants used in the industrial and institutional cleaning market
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Teams for project management.
