The BI Developer Intern will work hand-in-hand with the Digitalization team, executive leadership and various other business leaders to accomplish project goals and fulfill all external and internal customer needs in alignment with enterprise digitalization efforts. Responsibilities
- Business and Data Analysis
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing PowerBI solutions as well as developing new data visualizations based on business needs.
- Define requirements for raw data collection, processing, and staging as necessary for reporting solutions
- Work with SQL databases to extract, clean and prepare data for reporting and analysis
- Leverage your experience in analytics tools (R, Python, etc) and scientific rigor to produce actionable insights and/or reports.
- Assist in automating and streamlining reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Business Understanding and Project Management
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and reporting needs
- Identify and document workflows as potential opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements.
- Execute project plan, report progress, identify and resolve problems, and recommend further actions.
- Communicate project updates effectively to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Education: Completed 3 rd year of bachelor’s degree in an analytics-based major such as statistics, business analytics, information systems, or computer science.
- High proficiency in all standard Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (ex. Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with SQL.
- Basic understanding of automation tools (ex. Power Automate, UiPath, etc.) and their potential applications in business processes
- Proficiency or in at least one analytical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience (professional or academic) managing projects to deliver results on time and within budget.
- Good command of soft skills including:

- Can balance attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture

- Preference for an individual working towards a master's degree in an analytics-based major such as statistics, business analytics, information systems, or computer science.
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing query performance in SQL/Power Query
- Advanced PowerBI skills, such as proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M)
- Hands-on experience implementing automation workflows using Power Automate, UiPath, or similar automation tools
