JOB DESCRIPTION
Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organization’s mission has remained providing quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency is comprised of five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Early Intervention, Youth Services and Education which are currently supported through 17 different locations.
POSITION SUMMARY
Pilsen Wellness Center is seeking an IT Director to join our IT Department. The information technology director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions at all the locations. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions This individual will travel to other agency locations, so a reliable form of transportation is a MUST .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Maintain a reliable and productive IT infrastructure including CIS, SAMMS, QuickBooks, internet connectivity, telephone systems, servers, security cameras, and Google Apps for Nonprofits.
- Develop, implement, and test preparedness for a variety of outage situations including network connection down, building problem, equipment problems, and electrical problems. Provide alternative dispensing capability, power backup, and ability to operate from alternative location.
- Implement technical initiatives as directed by CEO including paper-free, IT for mobile mental health, and support for private program expansion
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in related field is REQUIRED.
COMPENSATION
$60,000 per year
