Seeking a case manager to assist youth in obtaining community services and resources.

JOB FUNCTIONS
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Attend court hearings.
- Serve as liaison between the court, other government agencies, and community providers.
- Prepare reports and case updates for court review and consideration.
- Participate in meetings and case conferences.
- Serve as an information source to the Judicial Bench, contract attorneys, CPS, and other state/federal agencies as required.
- Assist in the development of in-service training.
- Assist in the development of programs.
- Conduct orientation of new staff.
- Maintain electronic case documentation in compliance with County, state, and Federal requirements.
- Report statistical information.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelors degree in social work, behavioral/social sciences, or other closely related field; AND
- Three (3) years' experience in social work, child welfare, criminal or juvenile justice, mental or behavioral health; OR
- Equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to qualify.
Special Requirements
- Valid Arizona driver's license upon hire.
- Knowledge of the continuum of community-based services and resources appropriate to the individual needs of the case.
- Knowledge of the practices of the Pinal County Superior Court, mental health, child services, social services, or other health agencies.
- Knowledge of team decision making and group facilitation.
- Knowledge of principles of human behavior, child development, mental health assessments, and health agency guidelines.
- Knowledge of case management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of health and medical information.
- Knowledge of social services, community organizations, and health services.
- Skill in effective interviewing of case participants.
- Skill in engagement and collaboration.
- Skill in problem solving.
- Ability to critically analyze situations and make appropriate decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to use experience and knowledge to determine solutions for the most difficult cases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is light and requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. The work also requires the ability to finger, grasp, handle, reach, perform repetitive motion, lift, hear, speak, walk, operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
