The Church Secretary plays a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the church. The Church Secretary will be responsible for handling communications, maintaining records, and assisting with the overall organization of church activities.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Financial Secretary to assist with managing the financial operations of Pine Grove Baptist church. As our current Financial Secretary prepares to retire, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position (25-30 hours per week) with a set schedule from Sunday to Thursday. The selected individual will have the opportunity to shadow and train with the current Financial Secretary for one to three months before taking over the role independently.
This position involves handling payroll, managing tithes and offerings, processing invoices, maintaining church insurance policies, and other financial and administrative responsibilities. A strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills are essential.
