PHASE-Industries is looking for an experienced HR Generalist whose focus will be on the development and implementation of the agency's recruitment, screening, hiring, coaching, training and succession planning, benefits, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This position will be based out of our Sandstone, MN location but travel required to our other locations as well.
Recruiting
- Major area of responsible will include:
- Recruitment & staffing & applicant tracking
- Onboarding & orientation of new employees, processing new hire paperwork
- Training, performance management, coaching supervisor/managers on performance management
- Fostering the company’s culture, promoting effective and positive employee communication
- Works toward and leads efforts in HR best practices for employee safety, welfare, wellness, reporting, and employee services.
- Performance Management
- Reviewing organizational goals to relate with preferred organizational outcomes in terms of quality, quantity, cost or timeliness.
- Work with managers in specifying preferred results, i.e. goal setting, for employees.
- Teach proper documentation of a performance plan that includes measures, desired results and standards.
- Develop a tool to conducting ongoing measurements and observations to track an employee’s performance
- Train managers on effective performance management, including performance appraisals, performance plans, performance warnings, etc.

- Skills in database management and record keeping
- Effectively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

- Ability to prepare and deliver effective training modules for managers on performance management and interview skills
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years HR experience (preferred)
- AA/BA in human resources or related field (preferred)
- PHR or similar certification in Human Resource related areas (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel and database management
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization with a positive and solutions-focused attitude
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a MN DHS background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, and medical examination requirements (with a doctor's certification)
Pay is dependent upon experience.
