Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter. This position will be responsible for preparing and painting truck bodies and trailers, ensuring high quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sand, clean, and mask truck bodies and trailers to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Hang parts and prepare trailers and truck bodies for painting.
• Mix paint and use different spray systems, including Conventional pots, Airless spray systems, Air-assisted airless systems and Plural component systems.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Examine work to ensure the paint application meets quality standards, identifying and rectifying any imperfections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter, preferably in automotive or truck body painting.
• Proficiency with spray painting equipment and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in an industrial painting environment.
• Humble, kind, and hard working.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specialized coatings for commercial vehicles.

Physical Skills

• Physical ability to kneel, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
