SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to clean the public spaces of the resort and prepare guest rooms when needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required and a minimum of three months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times, to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners, and fellow Associates.
- Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
- Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions
- Make beds.
- Replace guest amenities and linen.
- Clean bathrooms i.e. tub, toilets, shower doors and tracks, wallpaper, vanities, light fixtures, floors, etc.
- Clean bedrooms i.e. dust furniture, vacuum floors, clean baseboards, clean windows, clean window sills, fold blankets, put items back in correct places (check-out), etc.
- Clean kitchen i.e. clean coffeepot, microwave, oven, refrigerator, countertops, cabinets, floors, etc.
- Organize vehicle and assist in the loading and unloading of clean linen, dirty linen, and trash.
- Report any maintenance problems to Inspector or Manager.
- Load cart and keep it organized, neat, and clean throughout the shift.
- Record room status on the daily assignment sheet and record time in and out of each room.
- Perform other job duties as assigned

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.. Regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift and/or push up to 25 pounds. Ability to climb up and downstairs inside buildings and outside buildings.
