DescriptionSCHEDULE : 40 hours Monday - Friday, 8-4 : 30pm,1-day working remotePays $77, 417.60 annually DOELOCATION : 3368 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain"This position carries a retention bonus of $5,000.00, payable in installments as follows : $1,000 at 30 days, $1,000 at 6 months, and $3,000.00 at twelve months of employment."SUMMARY OF THE POSITION : Housing Services provides comprehensive, intensive case management to formerly homeless individuals in permanent housing using the Housing First model, promoting long-term stability in housing and the end of homelessness in Boston. The Clinical Supervisor for Housing Stability and Supports is responsible for managing and providing services for the PSI Housing Stability and Supports program and staff, through a Department of Public Health (DPH) contract beginning July 1st, 2021.The Clinical Supervisor for Housing Stability and Supports leads a clinical informed housing case management team serving individuals who have experienced homelessness and substance use, and who may now, or have in the past, be experiencing untreated mental illness or other major health challenges. The primary goal of this program is to assist adults attain stability in their housing and in achieving self-sufficiency.The Clinical Supervisor provides leadership for the day-to-day operations of the program, direct involvement while managing resident crises, and develop the program to achieve its goals. In addition, the Supervisor assists the Associate Director in the development and completion of outcome, annual and other mandated reports as well as developing and maintaining positive relationships with partner agencies.Additional case management responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting participants with all required program documentation; assisting participants with obtaining benefits, healthcare, educational opportunities, employment opportunities, and legal aid; supporting the development of participants' activities of daily living skills and creating individual service plans with participants, maintaining all necessary documentation.RequirementsEDUCATION / TRAINING : REQUIRED :

  • Master's degree or higher in a related field (i.e. social work, clinical psychology, education, nursing)
  • Licensed
  • in Massachusetts in Social Work or Mental Health as a LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or Clinical Psychologist, or eligible for licensure upon hire with license attained within the first 9 months of employment.
  • Please note - All credentials and licensures will be reviewed annually as part of the PSI credentialing process.PREFERRED :
  • 2 years of clinical supervisory experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience in the substance abuse / mental health field
  • Bi-lingual - Spanish / EnglishKNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE : REQUIRED :
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing substance abuse, mental illness, trauma, homelessness and / or other complex disorders.
  • Ability to conduct clinical assessment and diagnosis for mental health and substance use disorders, as well as providing treatment recommendations.
  • Experience in community based social services.
  • Experience in data gathering, documentation, reporting, across multiple web based platforms.PREFERRED :
  • Knowledge of contract management
