Job Overview:
Pineapple Cove Academy is seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors for our Pineapple Pop In Camp! This is a fun and engaging part-time summer position, running for the first three weeks of summer. Counselors will lead campers in themed activities, ensuring a safe and exciting experience for all participants.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children ages 3 in daily camp activities
- Lead and assist with themed camp activities such as sports, STEM, arts & crafts, and games
- Follow a pre-designed lesson plan and facilitate themed activities such as sports, STEM, arts & crafts, and interactive games
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all campers
- Assist with setup and cleanup of activities and materials
- Encourage participation and foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with fellow staff and parents as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Energetic, responsible, and patient with a passion for working with kids
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different activities and provide a fun learning environment
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required
