What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving Range Attendant-Don Padgett Learning Center-Seasonal position at Pinehurst Resort?
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the driving range while accommodating guests needs.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of three months related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set-up driving- range for daily play (Golf Academy, Upper Tee and Members Tee), pick / wash balls and continue maintaining driving- range appearance throughout the day.
- Set-up short-game area and maintain throughout the day.
- Assist Golf Academy with morning set-up, periodic re-stocking range balls, resetting balls between classes and clean-up.
- Assist Learning Center when necessary.
- Maintain driving range equipment to include : club cleaners, baskets, bag racks, towels, and ropes.
- Responsible for the opening and closing driving- range procedures.
- Maintain driving -range cart and picker.
- Report all equipment problems to supervisor.
- Assist guest by cleaning clubs and bag transporting on and off the range.
- Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment. Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.
