Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the efficient care of guests, private lounge and locker areas, fitness area and issuance in a positive/professional manner. The Spa attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of the facility in order to ensure personal service in an immaculate environment.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year related experience in customer service, preferably in a Spa environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- This position is a very visible position and the person having this responsibility must possess strong communication skills, ability to utilize a personal computer, maintain a professional appearance at all times, resolve conflict, and be knowledgeable of the Resort.
- Responsible for greeting the guests, assigning lockers, issuing robe/slippers, escorting guests to their service area, locker room, wet areas, fitness center, manicure, pedicure areas in a timely manner and monitors the schedule to ensure punctuality as outlined in the SOP.
- Must ensure extreme privacy, care and respect of each guest.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, spotless spa. Conducts Spa walk through ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned and orderly.
- Replenish stock levels to include refilling robes, towels, lockers, sandals, toiletries, beverage dispensers, etc.
- Directs guests in proper use of whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and ensure guest safety.
- Maintains fitness center equipment in clean and working condition.
- Assists guests as needed, including bringing supplies such as towels, soaps, etc. while providing courteous service.
- Suggest cross selling of treatments in other departments.
- Must be able to work well with others as a team.
- Fluent and literate in English.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and requests from guests.
- Knowledge of Spa treatments and Salon services.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be detailed oriented.
