What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Support Team Lead position at PINELAND BH/DD CSB?
This position is for a fully licensed counselor to work as a Team Lead for Community Support Team (CST) offering services in Bulloch, Candler, Tattnall and Toombs counties.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages, coordinates and directs the clinical and/or behavioral health services of a comprehensive behavioral health program, serving individuals with mental illness and addictive diseases.
Supervises a moderate sized staff of behavioral health service professionals/paraprofessional in the diagnoses, evaluation and treatment of emotional, cognitive, developmental, behavioral and interpersonal disorders, illnesses and disabilities both in the center and community including crisis services
QUALIFICATIONS : Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, and/or Marriage and Family Therapists is required . Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, education, nursing, vocational rehabilitation, or other appropriate therapeutic discipline and two years of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience in social service delivery in provision of professional therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities.
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the stated qualification, possess one or more of the following: experience supervising other treatment and admin staff, designated Mental Health Professional.
