As a key member of our project delivery team, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Executive to successfully complete projects.
The Role
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Project Team, including the Design team (architect & Designer), Pinemar, and Trade Partners. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the project meets its schedule and financial goals through effective management of the budget, scope, and trade partner contracts.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the project team to achieve budget and schedule targets
- Main point of contact for Pinemar Project Team with architect/designer and client, and primary responsibility for managing client and design team relationships and expectations
- Coordinating information flow between Owner, Design Team, subcontractors, material suppliers, consultants, and Pinemar Team
Your Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Ordering materials, including identification and ordering of long lead time items
- Review and approval of Shop Drawings for doors, windows, cabinets, hardware, tile, ornamental iron, and other building materials as needed
- Management and tracking of Submittals
- Scoping and budgeting of change orders
- Review/approval of subcontractor invoices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
- At least 10 years of custom residential project management or commercial project management experience
- A deep understanding and expertise in the methods, materials, and processes specific to high-end residential construction, and construction sequencing for complex residential renovations and new builds
- Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and manage time effectively
- Microsoft Office 365
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
