As a key member of our project delivery team, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Executive to successfully complete projects.
The Project Manager Role
You will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Project Team, including the Design team (architect & Designer), Pinemar, and Trade Partners. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the project meets its schedule and financial goals through effective management of the budget, scope, and trade partner contracts.
You will be responsible for:
- Acting as Project Lead
- Main point of contact for Pinemar Project Team with architect/designer and client, and primary responsibility for managing client and design team relationships and expectations
- Responsible for achieving budget and schedule targets for each project they lead
- Maintaining timely and effective communication with clients, design team, Pinemar team, trade partners, material suppliers, and consultants
Your Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and tracking Submittals
- Managing scoping and budgeting of change orders
- Review/approval of subcontractor invoices
- Assisting superintendent in developing and managing the Construction Schedule
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering
- At least 10 years of custom residential project management or commercial project management experience
- A deep understanding and expertise in the methods, materials, and processes specific to high-end residential construction, and construction sequencing for complex residential renovations and new builds
- Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and manage time effectively
- Microsoft Office 365
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
