Pinemar is looking for upbeat, enthusiastic and optimistic candidates with a strong background in architecture, construction and design, great organizational skills, and complex problem solving skills to serve as project managers for our custom residential construction company. The Project Manager is part of a 3 person project delivery team along with the Superintendent and Project Executive charged with successfully completing projects. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Project Team, including the Design team (architect & Designer), Pinemar staff, and Trade Partners.
The Project Manager’s role on the team and in the company is to delight our clients and design partners by delivering the highest quality completed project, executed efficiently, on schedule and on budget, combined with creative problem solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, and a patient, service oriented, “customer first” attitude.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the project meets its profitability goals through effective management of the budget, scope, and trade partner contracts.
THE SUCCESSFUL PROJECT MANAGER WILL :
- Lead successful execution of Pinemar projects with a focus on communication, client management, project coordination, information management.
- Lead / coordinate efforts of Pinemar team, design team, trade partners.
- Lead weekly / bi-weekly job meetings,
i. do meeting agendas, minutes, and project updates, coordinate action items
4. Set up and manage the infrastructure of information flow between Owner, Design, and Construction Team
i. Ownership & maintenance of project manual, online
ii. Oversee Submittals and shop drawing review process
iii. Identify, Review and order long lead items
iv. Coordinate change orders with client / architect
v. Review / approve subcontractor invoices
vi. Review / approve trade partner invoices
vii. Assist superintendents with daily items and scheduling.
5. Main point of contact at Pinemar with architect / designer and client
6. Interface with and manage client and designer relationships
7. Help manage schedule and client expectations
8. Responsibility for achieving profitability targets on projects
9. Completion of Pinemar Homeowner’s Manual
10 Work with Estimating to deliver accurate timely proposals :
i. Review subcontractor scopes and bids with estimator
ii. Review estimates and proposals for completeness and accuracy
iii. Assist estimator with bid walkthroughs and take offs as needed
iv. Coordinate RFI’s with architects / designers
