Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve signature tropical cocktails, craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Create innovative drink specials highlighting local flavors and ingredients
- Maintain accurate cash handling and payment processing
- Manage bar inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Ensure bar areas remain clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Build rapport with guests while sharing local knowledge and recommendations
- Uphold all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices
- Support special events and themed nights at the resort
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience required (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of classic and tropical cocktail preparation
- Florida alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Creative approach to mixology and presentation
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
