Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Director to oversee operations on one of our campuses. The ideal candidate will be based out of our Baytown location . They should possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in HVAC systems. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, capable of managing teams effectively while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage local operations to ensure optimal performance across all facilities.
- Oversee maintenance programs, including HVAC, low voltage, and high voltage systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently.
- Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Develop and execute project management plans for facility upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices in maintenance and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards across all sites.
- Provide training and support to staff on mechanical systems and maintenance protocols.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovative solutions to operational challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the industrial maintenance sector.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when necessary.
