The Cemetery Director plays a vital role in supporting families during emotionally challenging times. They provide guidance, assistance, and services related to burial arrangements, memorialization, and cemetery products.
Responsibilities
- Selling and marketing cemetery spaces.
- Selling, designing, and marketing bronze markers.
- Oversee the installation of markers and memorials.
- Provide compassionate assistance while maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
- Offer clear explanations of services, products, and financial options.
- Present cemetery plots, mausoleum spaces, cremation niches, and memorialization products e.g. markers and urns.
- Handle pre-need planning and educate families on benefits of pre-arranging services.
- Work closely with other cemetery staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Act as a liaison between families and cemetery operations teams during service planning.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns.
