The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Scientist to join our team and who is dedicated to pioneering the discovery and development of targeted antibody-based receptor protein degraders to treat a broad range of solid tumor cancers. This individual will work in cross-functional teams to provide bioanalytical method development and PK and ADA sample analysis to help identify and develop novel therapies to treat targeted patient papulations within multiple oncology indications. She/he will lead efforts in developing cutting edge MSD and/or ELISA-based methodologies. The role requires a blend of expertise in method development and sample analysis, and a passion for research to drive our mission of delivering breakthrough therapies to patients.


Duties and Responsibilities:

●      Primary responsibility will be to support our Protein Discovery group by performing high-throughput screening ELISA/MSD assays to aid in identifying lead candidates for our drug development pipeline.

●      Independently design and develop ELISA/MSD based assays/methodologies for use in screening assays, analyze serum samples for drug and anti-drug antibodies resulting from discovery, and non-GLP PK/PD, PK, and Toxicology studies, and develop complex strategies and enable the advancement of Company objectives.

●      Perform quantitative bioanalytical immunoassay experiments to support non-regulated pharmacokinetic (PK) analyses of biotherapeutic drug candidates and evaluate anti-drug antibody (ADA) response.

●      Facilitate assay transfer activities in collaboration with external CROs for assay validation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.


Growth Opportunities:

●      Support the development of regulated and clinical bioanalytical strategies for large molecule drug candidates and conduct PK, ADA, and biomarker assays internally.

●      Contribute to outsourcing of non-GLP, GLP, and GCLP clinical BA assays.

●      Review and edit GLP and clinical BA assay validation protocols, and reports.

●      Review and evaluate immunoassay bioanalytical results supplied by external CROs to ensure quality; review GLP and clinical BA assay validation protocols and reports.

●      Prepare bioanalytical method summaries to support preparation of study reports and relevant sections of regulatory IND/CTA filings


Qualifications

●     PhD in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacokinetics, or related scientific discipline, or BS/MS degree with 4 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience.

●      Demonstrated expertise in immunoassay/ligand binding assay techniques for biotherapeutic quantification in complex biological matrices, preferably using ELISA/MSD technology.

●      Excellent critical thinking and scientific skills, and a demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex BA data.

●      Ability to work effectively and collaboratively on cross-functional projects teams.

●      Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

●       Curiosity and proactive engagement in scientific discussions are essential.

●       Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
