Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Pineview Learning Center in Monmouth, ME (POSSIBLE RELOCATION BONUS!)
Salary: Up to $100,000 per year
Maine School Solutions owns and operates three day treatment programs in the state of Maine. Each school is licensed by the Maine Department of Education as special purpose private schools. Maine School Solutions believes that all students can learn, achieve at high standards, and have abilities and talents that are worthy of being identified and supported.
At Maine School Solutions, we provide individualized therapeutic support and educational services to students identified in special education with behavioral, social, and emotional needs that have not been successful in public school in grades K – 12 and need a more structured and supported environment with specially designed instruction. All students have an assigned school social worker and are supported by Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP), Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists.
We are seeking a highly motivated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the Pineview Learning Center in Monmouth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with social and behavioral delays and disorders and will be able to provide effective behavior analysis, intervention, and support to students, families, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on individual student needs.
- Develop and implement data-based, behavior-specific intervention plans for students.
- Train and support school staff on evidence-based behavior strategies, including crisis intervention and behavior management.
- Collaborate with families, school personnel, and other service providers to ensure consistency across environments.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection and analysis.
- Attend meetings with families and school personnel as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of behavior analysis research, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
-Provide direct support and consultative support to students
-Complete documentation for reimbursement of billable services
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field.
- Experience working with students with behavioral disorders, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and strategies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
