**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our canine guests. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
**Pay is determined on experience, MUST be available 12:45pm to 7pm (FULL TIME) Monday through Friday to be considered for the position**
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide excellent care for dogs of all sizes and breeds
- Ensure the health and safety of the dogs by monitoring their behavior and providing prompt attention to any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized area, including the exercise yard and playrooms
- Assist with dog training and behavior modification, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques
- Handle dogs gently and safely, using appropriate animal restraint techniques
- Participate in heavy lifting and cleaning duties as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the well-being of the dogs and the success of the business
**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience working with animals, preferably in a dog daycare or kennel setting
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Experience with dog training and behavior modification
- Knowledge of animal care and handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- High school diploma or equivalent required
