Job Overview
As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs while their owners are away. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise, care for, and interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes. This position requires a genuine love for animals and the ability to handle them with care and respect. You will also engage with pet owners, ensuring they feel confident in the care their pets are receiving.
**Must be available 6:45am to 1pm Monday through Friday, possibility for more hours if wanted** **Pay is determined by experience and availability**
Duties
- Supervise dogs during playtime to ensure safety and proper behavior.
- Engage in play activities to promote socialization and exercise among dogs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including kennels and play areas.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in dog training or knowledge of animal behavior is preferred.
- Previous experience in pet sitting, animal handling, or veterinary settings is a plus.
- Ability to handle various dog breeds safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques is beneficial.
- A passion for animal care and welfare is essential.
