What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Team Member position at Pingree School?
At Pingree School, we are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors and Lifeguards. Our camp provides a fun and safe environment for children aged four to thirteen years old.
The camp runs from Monday through Friday, approximately 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., from June 23rd to August 15th. We offer seasonal employment opportunities with flexible schedules.
Camp Counselors are responsible for supervising small groups of campers, leading activities such as arts, games, and athletics. They must be at least sixteen years old prior to the start of camp and enjoy working with children.
Lifeguards work under the supervision of the Pool Director and are responsible for general water safety and some aquatic instruction. We will reimburse the cost of the lifeguard course and registration fee upon successful completion of the camp season. A bonus of $100 is also provided to employees hired for this role.
