Director of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising

To round out our team, we’re adding a Director of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising who is responsible for developing, overseeing, implementing, training and monitoring a comprehensive peer-to-peer development program complete with quarterly initiatives to help PRG raise significant donations and grow our pipeline of donors.
Responsibilities:
- Support the work PRG is doing by establishing a comprehensive peer-to-peer development plan aligned with our strategic priorities to utilize others to help to fundraise on behalf of PRG. This role is responsible for raising $150,000-$350,000 through peer-to-peer fundraising.
- Point person for all peer-to-peer fundraising including being the one to develop, oversee, implement, train and track the peer-to-peer development plan. Collaborate with marketing and other PRG departments to roll out different peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns in order to help spread awareness, build relevancy and recruit people to participate to hit established goals.
- Provide input into the development of a strategic plan for the peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals and timelines and help to establish key performance metrics for specific peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
- Oversee logistics, timelines and other operational elements for peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. Organize related meetings and information sessions as required and act as the main contact for participating groups. Responsible for peer-to-peer fundraising administrative activities including stewardship of donors, sending out awards/rewards and data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate.
- Provide reporting and continuously evaluate peer-to-peer fundraising programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help drive successful volunteer/ambassador fundraising by creating training materials, hosting training sessions and creating strategies to increase participation and engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of successful fundraising results through peer-to-peer fundraising programs
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual and institutional donors. Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, strategies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience executing fundraising campaigns – ideally crowdfunding and/or peer-to-peer campaigns.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including donors, healthcare professionals, board members, large groups and individuals.
- Have the technical ability to work on campaigns on the backend and to navigate software like RE NXT, etc.
- Strong customer service is essential in this position. Having the ability to build trust and rapport while using problem solving and critical thinking will be vital for success.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure, while also engaging in collaboration between teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Along with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Have a passion for the PRG Mission.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with hours from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You can work remotely from your home anywhere in the U.S., including Dayton, Ohio, or choose to work out of our headquarters in Dayton.
This position reports directly to the VP of Growth & Strategy.
