We are looking for a Senior Grants Specialist who is passionate about grant writing and excited to manage the entire grant lifecycle. If you love the thrill of crafting compelling grant proposals and eagerly await funding news, you're the person we need.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with staff across regions to gather essential information for proposals, funder updates, and grant reporting. This involves researching grant opportunities, managing timelines, editing documents, and leading the writing of grants up to $100,000 for assigned regions.
- Proofread and copy-edit grant proposals while adhering to tight deadlines. Support the Director, Grants & Foundation Relations with larger regional grants.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain relevant demographic data to support grant applications.
- Prepare well-crafted case statements for new projects under the guidance of PRG's Director, Grants & Foundation Relations, while contributing to strategic planning efforts.
- Maintain a deliverables calendar throughout the grant cycle and manage PRG's historical grant tracking system to organize all application materials and communications.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with current and prospective funders, creating engagement opportunities with PRG's work.
- Achieve annual fundraising goals for corporate and foundation giving as defined in strategic planning.
- Assist in developing the annual report, quarterly funder updates, and other writing projects as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment :
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 : 30 pm. It can be hybrid for those near PRG's headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, or fully remote for those in other regions. Preference will be given to applicants residing near St. Louis or San Francisco.
