GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for training both new and existing employees in loan-related duties. This role encompasses instruction on the core system and all other loan platforms, company policies and procedures, and compliance measures to mitigate risk.
The position involves developing curriculum and training programs, as well as creating and revising loan procedures and updating loan resources. It fosters a positive learning environment by clearly conveying objectives, motivating trainees, and evaluating their learning outcomes. This role may also require traveling to branches to provide training support as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Performs and schedules virtual, classroom, and on the job training as requested by management.
- Delivers initial training for new hires in areas of software applications, policies, procedures, sales, and customer service related to their position.
- Develops and oversee the production and updates of procedures, instructional materials, and manuals.
- Evaluates new employee performance with department managers and identifies additional training needs.
- Periodically evaluates training programs to ensure they reflect any changes.
- Improves and implements training tools and processes to ensure success of new staff.
- Promotes and assist with training related to other loan areas such as compliance, consumer lending, loan processing center, loan review, and others as needed.
- Provides input for proposed changes that affect loan staff regarding systems, policies, and procedures.
- Interfaces with all levels of management as well as outside vendors to ensure organizational goals are attained related to the department and proper training is provided.
- Provides product knowledge, sales, skills and service training, as requested by management.
- Provides New Employee Orientation as necessary.
- Provides support to all branch personnel and utilizes resources available including escalation to ensure protection of the bank.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

- Knowledge of loan systems, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge in MS Office.
- Skills with training in a corporate setting.
- Skills in organization and sound decision making.
- Ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to develop new techniques or procedures for performing various tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.
- Three or more years of loan experience preferred.
